FULL SHOCK: 7 Little Johnstons’ Parents, Trent and Amber, ARRESTED and Fined $435,000 for “Federal Tax Evasion for 3 Years” and Face Jail

7 LITTLE Johnstons parents, Trent and Amber, were hit with a staggering $435,000 lien after “failing to pay federal taxes for years.”
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal that the parents of five were hit with the lien on July 21st.
“They have the one open lien; it has not been cancelled,” a clerk confirmed.
The total, $435,407.08, spanned from tax years 2021, 2022, and 2023.
The tax lien was filed against the stars in their home state of Georgia.
The Johnstons’ patriarch recently revealed he was given a scary diagnosis in a trailer for the upcoming season, which premieres on Tuesday.
TRENT’S HEALTH CRISIS
In the clip, Trent, 49, and his wife, Amber, 46, gather the family to discuss what they learned at a recent doctor’s appointment.
The couple revealed that Trent showed signs of “White Matter Disease,” which he explained was linked to his sleep apnea.
The Mayo Clinic describes sleep apnea as a potentially serious sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts.
“The neurologist told me that if I don’t start treating my sleep apnea right away, it will definitely be the cause of my death,” Trent said during a confessional interview.
The preview also features the family learning about Trent’s treatment, with everyone trying on CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) masks in their home.
Trent and Amber are parents to two biological children—Jonah, 25, and Liz, 23—and three adopted children—Anna, 25, Emma, 20, and Alex, 19.
WHERE’S ANNA?
Elsewhere in the Season 14 preview, Liz and her partner, Brice Bolden, prepare for their engagement, while Trent addresses Anna’s growing distance from the family in recent years.
The U.S. Sun exclusively reported in July 2024 that Anna chose not to attend a family vacation to Puerto Rico, even though she initially planned to go.
A direct message exchange between a fan and the Johnstons’ official Instagram confirmed Anna’s decision to skip the trip.
She was the only family member absent, although the group included Jonah and Alex’s girlfriends and Liz’s partner, Brice.
Anna previously said on social media that she was “not invited” to the filmed vacation, addressing fans’ questions about her absence.
Fans weren’t too surprised by Anna’s absence, as she has seemed to distance herself from family events, which will be addressed on the upcoming season of 7 Little Johnstons.
MOVING OUT
In January 2024, The U.S. Sun revealed that Anna secretly purchased a $185,000 home in Georgia, surprising fans who didn’t know she was planning to move out.
Earlier episodes showed Emma redecorating an upstairs bathroom, but never mentioned Anna moving into her own home.
For a time, Liz moved back in with her parents while she was pregnant with her and Brice’s daughter, Leighton Drew.
The family of three has since moved into their own home, which they bought for $255,000 this summer, according to The U.S. Sun.
Currently, the only children still living at home with Trent and Amber are Jonah, Emma, and Alex.
7 Little Johnstons returns Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. EST on TLC.
