CBS Renews 10 Shows, Including ‘NCIS,’ ‘Tracker,’ ‘Matlock’ and ‘Survivor’
The network gave early pickups to 10 of its fan-favorite shows.

It’s only January, but CBS is already looking forward to next season’s schedule, announcing today that it has renewed 10 of its series for the 2026-2027 broadcast season.
Among those are:
- Tracker: No. 1 series (Season 4)
- Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage: No. 1 comedy (Season 3)
- Matlock: Thursday night’s No. 1 entertainment program (Season 3)
- Elsbeth (Season 4)
- Fire Country (Season 5)
- NCIS (Season 24)
- NCIS: Origins (Season 3)
- NCIS: Sydney (Season 4)
- Survivor (Season 51)
- The Amazing Race (Season 39)
They join the previously announced greenlit series:
- Boston Blue: No. 1 new series and Friday night’s No. 1 show
- Sheriff Country: No 2 new series
- FBI: Monday night’s No. 1 entertainment program
- Ghosts: No. 2 comedy
- New series Cupertino and Einstein
Einstein is a new drama starring Matthew Gray Gubler, once again playing a genius. Cupertino is from creators Robert and Michelle King, who will reunite with Mike Colter as their series star.
With these shows getting picked up, the only current CBS shows awaiting word on new seasons are the medical drama Watson starring Morris Chestnut and the freshman comedy DMV.
The Neighborhood was previously announced as ending after its current season.
This brings the total number of series ordered for the 2026-2027 season to 16.
Additional series orders and renewals will be made at future dates.
