Key Points

  • Tracker midseason finale ends with Shaw and Keaton’s lives in jeopardy after a cliffhanger.
  • No new episodes until Sunday, March 1, 2026; show moves to 9 pm ET timeslot.
  • Next episode to address Emile Lang plot and features returning and new guest stars.

The best way to end a Sunday night is with Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw.

The third season of Tracker has been quite an adventure so far, with the latest installment, Tracker Season 3 Episode 9, finding Shaw in a sticky situation where he’s the one being hunted for a change.

“Good Trouble” saw Colter helping out his old buddy and retired cop, John Keaton (Brent Sexton), and quickly realizing that the situation may have been a setup, with the tables quickly turning around on him and putting him in grave danger.

The episode ended on a cliffhanger, as Shaw swerved off the road to escape the bullets being shot his way, only for his car to go off a cliff, with his life and Keaton’s hanging in the balance.

It’s an interesting turn for the show, as Shaw is usually in the driver’s seat, but now, he has a target on his back and needs to pull out all of his survivalist skills to dig himself—and Keaton—out of this mess, that is, if they survive.

With such a dramatic ending to an episode, it’s no surprise that fans are wondering when they can watch the continuation of the episode.

Unfortunately, part 2 isn’t coming on Dec. 21, 2025.

Is ‘Tracker’ New Tonight?

The cliffhanger was part of Tracker’s midseason finale, which means that the thriller series will be on a hiatus for a few weeks, as families celebrate the holidays with their loved ones.

There will be no new episode of Tracker on Dec. 21, 2025.

New episodes will return on Sunday, March 1, 2026!

‘Tracker’ Moves to a New Time

When Tracker does finally return in March, CBS confirmed it will move to a new timeslot.

It will shift to a 9 pm ET to 10 pm ET timeslot (9/8c), insted of the usual air time at 8pm ET.

CBS will slide in Yellowstone spinoff, Y Marshals, into Tracker’s old time slot, with Tracker followed by Watson, also moving to a new night and time period.

‘Tracker’ Season 3 Episode 10

While there’s no synopsis available for Tracker Season 3 Episode 10, it will hopefully provide a resolution to the storyline involving ruthless killer-for-hire, Emile Lang (Mark Engelhardt). The episode will also see the return of Det. Willa Simms, played by Jes Macallan, along with Chicago Med’s Sasha Roiz, who stars as Police Commissioner Ross Bogart, who may or may not be a corrupt and on Lang’s payroll.
